What happens during my appointment?
Before Treatment: A full and in depth consultation carried out at the time of your appointment to have your procedure done, to understand your skin suitability and realistic expectations of permanent make-up. All colors and shapes are customized to each person! The artist will always draw on first to make sure this is YOUR desired shape, no surprises! A consent form will be filled out to ensure we have all the medical information necessary for the procedure. Your photo will be taken and we will apply topical anesthetics cream to start your numbing process so you will be comfortable during the procedure and the initial measurements will be marked and drawn on first to make sure this is YOUR desired shape, color and get your approval before we start.
During Treatment: A topical anesthetic will be re-applied during procedure keeping you comfortable. The artist will choose needles and the blade type according to the technique and the skin type. A hand tool with attached needles fused together in a linear grouping. The needle used in manual microblading is 3 times thinner thank the one used in machine, which is used to implant the dermatologically tested and state of the art pigments into the skin. The procedure can be a little uncomfortable for those who are more sensitive. However, there is an anesthetic applied during to keep this to a minimum to where it is completely tolerable.
After Treatment: When the treatment is finished some after care cream will be applied. You will be advised on after care and will be given an after-care ointment. The treatment area may feel sensitive. With eyebrow treatments you may have some swelling which should settle down within a few hours. If you keep your brows clean and dry, only a thin film (not a scab), will appear after 4-7 days. It will off itself in 7-10 days( do NOT peel it off). After the film peels off you can still feel some dryness, in case clean or disinfect the area with a small amount of coconut or grape seed oil. Be careful with any cleaning in the affected area. The full healing period is 30-45 days
Follow Up Treatment: You will be booked in for your follow up treatment to complete the final adjustment. The touch up is recommended 4-6 weeks after initial treatment. During your touch up, the artist will fill in missing hairs, add or make hairs longer or just achieve a darker color. This will ensure that your enhancement will be beautiful. Everyone’s skin heals differently. It is important to remember that this is a two-part process and second touch-up to fill in missing hairs, make hairs longer or achieve more intensive color. After you have fully healed, you will see the finished result. Please be patient and don’t panic.
